Drones are one of those innovations that have come into our lives in the past few years and penetrate it without any signs of slowing down. Quite the contrary, drones enjoy great interest not only with experts and enthusiasts but also in media, as well as among general public.
It is no wonder that drone-related events are some of the most exciting ones. For instance, the First International Drones Conference that took place in Lausanne, Switzerland, on the 1-3rd of September this year included not only insightful talks and spectacular demonstrations. It has also put up quite an amazing show with the drone races. The event was organized by the World Air Sports Federation (FAI) and welcomed, among other participants, Max Polyakov and Michael Ryabokon of Noosphere Ventures.
But interesting drone events happen everywhere, and Ukraine is no exception. Here is what we could witness in Ukraine last year:
FAI Drone Racing World Cup 2017 comprised of 16 local events around the world. Aforementioned Max Polyakov and his Association Noosphere have organized this, unique for Ukraine, event. Ukrainian drone racer Andy Khan placed third in the race. He was awarded the prize of $1000 and an invitation to partake in the 2017 FAI DAEGU Drone Race World Cup.
Ukraine’s most grand economic event has acknowledged the impact of drone technology. So, the organizers have included the biggest drone exhibition in Ukraine so far in the event’s program. The event was attended by over 1500 esteemed participants. Meanwhile, philanthropist and entrepreneur Max Polyakov (Макс Поляков) worked with EOS to introduce new Platform.
The organizers of the Precision Agriculture conference that took place in Kyiv on the 30-31st of August 2017 are positive that drones can and should be used for practical purposes here and now. This is why they have included a demonstration of several drone technologies that are extremely beneficial for agriculture, into their program. They have proved that the drones are not the future of the agriculture, but its present.
